Wednesday Night, July 11th, the office has gathered at the boss’s home for some fun games, food, drinks, and team-building. We all embraced the competition while having some laughs along the way. These pictures display the exciting enthusiasm of the team lasting all night.

Weekly Spotlight: Patience
Here at MCO Orlando, we want the individuals we hire to work hard, be willing to learn, and be goal driven. Often times, people think a college degree is necessary to be successful, but that’s not always true. Working your way up from the top with determination is what we pride ourselves in here at MCO Orlando. This week, I had the honor of speaking to Patience, a sales Leader, about her life and things that lead her to become part of the MCO Orlando family. If you think you’re like Patience, apply today by sending your resume to hr@mco-Orlando.com!
Here’s our interview:
Where are you from?
I was born in Columbia, South Carolina and lived in New Hampshire for 13 years.
Where did you work before this?
A retail store called Winsdor.
How was it different from MCO Orlando?
Working in retail, I was an assistant manager so I was training people and creating schedules instead of selling products. The environment was different, so I couldn’t create a personal relationship there like I can here. I hang out with my employees here. A nice benefit is I get to go outside and be active.
How long did it take you to get promoted?
It took me 3 weeks to be promoted to leadership!
Favorite thing about working here?
The family environment: it’s social and encouraging! I also like the money haha.
Team night: Bowling!
For our Thursday team night, we gathered at Boardwalk Bowl for a few rounds of bowling. We love competition in and out of the field, so a little friendly competition never hurt anybody! Unfortunately, our bosses were out of town but the team managed to hold their own and lead the team night with ease. It’s always good to remind ourselves to work hard, but play even harder. Friends, family, food and fun we’re the themes of the night. To more team nights like these!
Here are some photos, but they really don’t do justice showing just how much fun we had!
Team night: promotion edition
Early Saturday morning, a few of us at the office discovered the good news: Shekinah Mouzon was promoted to assistant manager. In MCO Orlando, this is a big deal. When offered a position here, everyone starts at the same level. We valuing working our employees up to higher positions; therefore, promoting from within. Shekinah started at at the same position as everyone here. Through her hard work, determination, dedication, and passion, she managed to quickly be promoted multiple times. Now, Shekinah is close to opening up her own office. We are so proud of Shekinah and all the amazing things she has accomplished. We know she will continue to do spectacular things now and in her future!
Instead of having the typical team night, we decided to go big or go home! We surprised Shekinah at Castaway’s sports bar and grill with a bunch of food, decorations, cake, gifts, and most importantly, her mom. Her mom drove 3 hours just for her promotion, how sweet!
Here are so photos documenting our night!
